This years rooftop urban garden will be growing all the varieties of 'The Vibrant Veggies Box' and 'The Kickin' Chilli Box'. This will be grown in 6 storage tubs and directly into 2 compost bags along a series of narrow spaces on my roof top... knowing what I'm like this will probably increase. Short trellises have been added to the tubs designated for the climbers.
I have assembled a similar setup in previous years but transporting water onto the roof was a task in itself. Therefore, this year I have installed a drip irrigation system providing the plants a more consistent water supply.
The black tub is the water storage positioned on the highest point on the roof.
