Orange Cayenne Hot Chilli Pepper Seeds

 The Orange Cayenne is a long and slender pepper, ranging from 10 - 15 cm in length and 2 - 4 cm in diameter with a pointed tip. Once mature, the glossy skin ripens from a deep green to vivid orange. The pepper produces a citrus flavour, followed by a strong heat that fades quickly. In UK supermarkets, ground Cayenne powder is commonly found, however, fresh Orange Cayenne’s are a rare sight.

The fresh peppers can be used in sauces and marinades, however, more commonly they are dried and ground into a powder for spice. This variety is also a good source of Vitamin C and A and holds anti-inflammatory properties.
