Dill is an ancient medicinal herb that has been around for over 2000 years. In the past, it was used to soothe stomach pain and cure colic in babies. Nowadays, the herb is more commonly used as a garnish or to add flavour to meat and seafood.
With a liquorice-like flavour, dill makes the perfect dressing for salmon. However, if fish isn't for you, why not try adding some fresh cuttings into your roast potatoes with a touch of salt, butter and a drizzle of olive oil.
Fun Fact:
Ancient Greeks used dill as an ingredient in perfumes!
