Alpine Red Strawberry Seeds

The alpine red or fragaria vesca as it's sometimes known as, are grown for their deliciously sweet taste not their size. This variety produces small white flowers and bunches of tiny fruits throughout the summer months with production peaking in mid-summer.

The alpine red can be used in a variety of dishes. We enjoy them sliced and stirred into porridge or in a homemade strawberry jam.

• Strawberry Seeds germinate best after cold treatment
